The Nseries didn t get all of Nokia s love today in Barcelona. Two new 6000 series handsets were announced alongside a few other non-Nseries devices. Surprisingly, no new Eseries handsets made an appearance; we were certainly hoping to see the E71 on display but it looks like we ll have to wait on that one, along with the other that has us drooling in anticipation. Pictured top-left and available in Q3 of this year, the 6220 Classic is our choice above the upcoming N78. The look of the device is hardly an improvement but it certainly has the goods to make up for it, barring the small battery and lack of US-HSDPA. A lower price tag of around $475 doesn t hurt the 6220′s case either. Key specs:
Quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900MHz) and dual-band HSDPA (900/2100MHz)
2.2 QVGA display with 16M colors
120MB internal memory, microSDHC card slot
Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR and A2DP, 2.5mm audio port with TV-Out
5 megapixel camera with autofocus, Carl Zeiss optics with sliding lens protector, Xenon flash
aGPS (with automatic geotagging support)
Adaptive Multi Rate Wideband speech coding technology
